The next installment in our series on Agency Culture describes Shadow Day at BrandTuitive.

If you’ve been reading our blog, you know that we place a high value on professional development – and not just for ourselves.

From time to time, we invite students or recent graduates who are interested in branding, marketing and advertising to shadow us for a day. Shadow Day is much like any other day at the agency except that we have guests and a portion of the day is devoted to their career and their development. Usually we evaluate their resume, conduct mock interviews and provide feedback.

Our guests join us for the whole day and are expected to fully participate – side by side with us. They get the opportunity to work on real agency work that could include activities like brainstorming sessions, presentations or copywriting.

Shadow Day provides a real peek into a day-in-the-life at BrandTuitive and agency life in general.

Employees and guests enjoy these special days and often long-term bonds and contacts are made. It’s our small way of paying it forward.
